Always Prepared....

The ATS monitors the electricity coming into your home 24/7

Power goes out...

The ATS recognizes there is no power to your house and switches on the generator. Within seconds your home is running off power created from the generator. The system keeps running while utility power is out

Utility power returns....

When the ATS recognizes utility power has been restored, it shuts off the generator and returns utility power to your home.

*This chart is an approximate guide. The size of your house and a load calculation is needed to determine the actual size generator needed for your house

How does it work?

When you install a permanent standby generator, the unit sits outside your home the same as an A/C unit while the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is installed next to your electrical panel. It runs on natural gas or liquid propane (LP) fuel.

Choosing a Generator

Your first step in adding backup power is deciding what you need (or want) to keep running when the electricity goes out. This determines the size (wattage) of the generator you’ll need. You can choose whether to back up your entire home or just the most essential items.

Whole house back up will power critical hard-wired systems like AC, heat, sump pumps, well pumps, security systems and large appliances. We can help you decide what range of protection best suits your needs and your budget.

We want to protect you and your family from being among these statistics.
